Karla Patten

Avenues Realty Group

It’s literally an honor to be nominated! It’s so wonderful to be heavily involved in an industry I love.

The last few years have been very exciting personally and professionally! On a personal note, we received our first 2 grandbabies! Very exciting! Professionally, I opened my own boutique brokerage, Avenues Realty Group, Sept. of 2021 and just purchased our own office building.

In addition, I’m currently the chair for the Pleasant Grove Planning commission, on several boards of directors for HOA's in Utah and Oregon and I am part of the Shaumba Foundation which builds housing and communities in Africa.

I believe my success as a broker lies within my agents, not only in their production but watching in awe as they grow, achieve their own goals. I’m dedicated to helping them succeed.

Jechelle Secretan

RE/MAX Associates (Utah County)

“Hey Jechelle…you want to get your real estate license with us?”

“Nope. No way. Don’t people generally hate REALTORS®?”

And 25 years later….

I hope I’ve played a part in changing how people feel about us “Real-A-Turrs” (huge pet peeve.) 😉 But there is absolutely no way I would be where I am and WHO I am today without the influence of 2 amazing leaders and brokers who encouraged me to get involved serving in our association. That one decision completely changed the whole trajectory of my business and my life.

I’ve been on multiple committees at our local and state boards, and planned tons of REALTOR® events. Sat in hundreds of meetings and made tough decisions I never thought I’d have to. Painted and helped improve lots of homes. I’ve played golf, I’ve donated to RPAC, I’ve eaten literally a ton of food with title companies, voted on important changes here in Utah and at the national level. I’ve recorded really awkward videos in an effort to share events and benefits of our association. And plenty of other things that I’m forgetting.

But at the end of the day… I hope that if I’ve met you…you felt like you had a friend in me. I hope we problem solved together. I hope that how we’ve served each other, and our clients has made us feel PROUD to be a REALTOR®

And also…. I hope for more world peace. 😉
